| ROCHESTER, NH - The Limoges acquisition enhances Eastern’s home heating oil and propane service capabilities for a customer base of more than 85,000 homes and businesses located in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and now Vermont. The acquisition also marks Eastern’s first entry into the Vermont propane and oil retail market. Eastern will operate in the western New Hampshire and Vermont region from the Limoges Claremont, NH offices using the Limoges Oil & Propane name and personnel who will join Eastern’s family of sales and service professionals. Eastern Propane & Oil has been family owned and operated since 1932. The company employs more than 320 people to service and supply propane and oil to its residential and commercial propane and heating oil customers. In 2005, Eastern Propane & Oil was named NH Business of the Year by NH Business Magazine and in 2006; Eastern was named Business of the Year by the Greater Ossipee Chamber of Commerce.
